There are many wineries on Vancouver Island, and we visit three (or sometimes four) on our journey. Experience the flavours of the Island’s finest wines and have a delicious lunch at one of the wineries, or pack a picnic to enjoy at the winery of your choice. If you have a preference, we will do our best to accommodate any other wineries you would like to visit on your Limo Wine Tour. We will do our best to make the reservations and keep on schedule to make the most of your special day.
We start off the day around 10:00 am with a pick up at the location of your choice. Keep in mind that you might want a secure place for your guests to park their vehicles, or suggest someone drop them off at your house, as they will most likely leave their cars there overnight if they’ve been drinking all day, or secure a ride home from the final drop off point, which is usually around 6 or 6:30 pm. We offer individual rides home from your limo wine tour for an additional fee. Please consult your driver before the end of the day.
Did you know Blue Grouse Estate Winery is one of the oldest Estate Wineries in all of British Columbia? Blue Grouse is a magical place with an incredible view of the mountains. Nestled on a 32 acre piece of majestic Cowichan Valley countryside, this family owned winery and vineyard produces some of the most awarded wines on the entire island. From Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Quill Red. Ortega, Bacchus and the very rare Black Muscat. Blue Grouse produces new classic wines from old island vines. It’s usually the first visit on our Limo Wine Tours, and it’s a great opportunity to stock up your wine cellar or wine rack with your favourite wines!
Located off a picturesque country road winding through working farms and rolling hills, Unsworth Vineyards & Restaurant is beautifully nestled within the heart of Vancouver Island’s wine country. Dedicated to crafting wines of distinction that reflect the exceptional soil and growing conditions of the region, Unsworth’s award-winning, family-owned and operated winery is complemented by their own restaurant! The restaurant is a restored early 1900s farmhouse serving natural local sourced gourmet foods. A delicious wine and culinary destination, and a spectacular setting for intimate weddings and events – warm and welcoming with plenty of charm and heritage.
Nestled in the beautiful Cowichan Valley, Enrico’s 50-acre estate has the perfect micro-climate that allows them to grow 7-different varietals. You can find wines ranging from fruity whites to full-bodied reds that are unique to Vancouver Island. Enrico wines are winning medals across Canada and the United States. They are opened all year round, and encourage you to visit to enjoy a sample of their wines in the tasting room. Live entertainment by the talented Rollie Barret is a great way to end the day. Sipping the home-grown sparkling wines Celebration or Revelation and tasting the house-made Sangria! A Limo Wine Tour is not complete without a visit to Enrico’s.
Damali Lavender Winery is a delight to the senses! Fields of blue lavender (which make for fantastic photos, and every type of Lavender you can think of! Their store is chock full of Lavender products including Lavender rhubarb Wine, Lavender Rooibos teas, body sprays, linen sprays and satchels of lavender to place in your drawers and closets!
